Matej Mrak is a Partner with Amrop in Slovenia.

Matej is an experienced executive search professional who has successfully completed over 200 searches across all industries, predominantly in the Consumer & Retail, Life Sciences and Financial Services segments across the Adriatic and CEE regions.

His expertise spans over 18 years of cross border talent acquisition, developing HR and talent management strategies, and performance management and compensation benefits systems.

Earlier in his career, Matej held several senior HR leadership positions within multinational companies, including Microsoft and Studio Moderna.

Matej holds a B.A. in Sociology – Human Resources, and is currently completing his master’s studies in Human Resources at the University of Ljubljana, Department of Social Sciences.

In addition to his native Slovene, he speaks fluent Croatian, Serbian and English, has a good knowledge of German and an understanding of Italian and Czech.
