Sabine is a Managing Partner of AmropCivitas in Germany and Co-Leader of Amrop's global Life Sciences & Healthcare Practice. She is recognized in the German and European market as one of the leading Life Sciences experts in executive search.

Sabine combines 10 years management experience in the pharmaceutical industry and in strategy consulting with over 15 years executive search expertise.

Sabine started her career in 1988 with Schering AG (Dax company, today Bayer AG) and has worked in Germany, South Africa, Scandinavia and Asia. Her last position before joining Executive Search was with Deloitte in their strategy consulting business.

Sabine joined Amrop as Partner in 2004. She was appointed a board member of Amrop's global Executive Board from 2011 to 2014. From December 2015 Sabine was one of the founding Partners of the Amrop 2.0 initative in Germany, refreshing Amrop's strong presence in the Germany market.

In the Life Sciences sector, Sabine works for industry-leading global companies. Projects vary from global and national management positions to highly specialized positions in medical, R&D, drug registration and market access. Positions placed by Sabine include CEO/GMs, positions in BU/Marketing & Sales management to Finance, Supply Chain, Production and Quality Assurance.In FMCG, her focus lies on selected clients in Luxury goods.

Early in her consulting career, Sabine developed her passion for arts and opera. In 2002 she was invited to join the Board of Patrons (in an honorary capacity) of the Deutsche Oper Berlin, one of the largest opera houses in Germany, acting as treasurer. The Board of Patrons supports fund raising programs for the Deutsche Oper, new opera productions and young singers. She is part of a vibrant network in the opera scene. Based on her Opera experience Sabine is lecturing at the University Zurich at their Arts Administration program.

Sabine holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Würzburg University, Germany, including some international studies in South Africa.
