Warwick began his experience in executive search in London in 2000, covering the UK and EMEA. After five years, he joined Carmichael Fisher in Australia, focusing on investments and private equity. In 2009, he founded and exited Australia's first carbon & ESG search firm.
He founded Future Directors Institute and Startup Boardroom to teach governance to emerging leaders and founders. As APAC lead for IdeaScale, he drove innovation programs across industry and government. He co-founded GRAIA, a global network of AI leaders from 30+ countries.
He served as Non-Executive for the United Nations in Australia for a decade and remains Co-Chair of the UN Climate Committee.
Waz holds a Master’s from Swinburne and Northeastern, in Boston, and he studied Ethical AI Governance at MIT Sloan.
In 2026, he rejoined Amrop Carmichael Fisher to lead the Technology and AI practice.
