With a background in engineering and 25 years of professional experience, Yannis combines an entrepreneurial mindset with a comprehensive market perspective. He spent a decade as a management consultant with Tier 1 firms, advancing to the role of Director, where he served as both a strategic and operational advisor on local and international projects. His consulting engagements spanned a wide range of industries—including technology, telecommunications, FMCG, industrial, and financial services—providing data-driven insights to optimize business performance and executive leadership.

Following his consulting career, Yannis spent another 10 years leading his own businesses in the FMCG and TMT sectors, gaining hands-on experience in scaling operations, navigating market disruptions, and driving commercial success. This combination of top-tier advisory experience and entrepreneurial leadership equips him with a well-rounded perspective on both corporate and start-up environments, allowing him to identify and develop high-impact leadership talent. His hands-on involvement in the start-up ecosystem has given him direct exposure to lean methodologies, agile frameworks, and the importance of cultivating a dynamic, adaptable culture. This first-hand experience enables him to blend start-up agility with the strategic depth required for established enterprises.

His expertise in management consulting also extends to the public sector, where he understands the unique challenges and opportunities within government administration. This allows him to bridge the gap between public and private sector practices, enhancing efficiency and fostering innovation.

Yannis holds a PhD in Decision Support Systems and Management, as well as an MEng in Electrical and Computer Engineering, both from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). Alongside his professional career, he taught the "Business Strategy Game" course to final-year students at NTUA, offering practical business insights and helping shape the next generation of leaders.

Fluent in Greek and English, Yannis also has basic proficiency in German.
