It is now widely recognized by the large majority of companies’ management and their shareholders that the board of directors is a key strategic asset to a company as it should offer a diverse and complementary set of knowledge and experience. Its ability to work efficiently, closely and openly within the board and with the CEO and his /her team is a fundamental necessity.
Through a very pragmatic approach, and using business cases, you will work as group to identify governance issues and problems. You will discuss them and try to find solutions and remedies. You will be guided and potential solutions will be explained based on real life experience of the lecturers. At the end of this course, you will be better equipped to address and solve governance issues at the board level; helping companies move forward in a healthier environment.
