Amrop Establishes New Office in Gothenburg

The Amrop Partnership announces the opening of an additional office in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The Gothenburg team will focus on developing Amrop’s presence in Western Sweden, especially serving clients within the region’s strong industrial zone. The move increases Amrop’s Nordic presence to 6 offices in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.

Amrop welcomes Marcus Pokorny and Andreas Boke as Partners in Gothenburg, who together have more than 40 years consolidated experience in leadership recruitment, each having spent the last five years as consultants in another large global Executive Search firm.

Since 1995, Marcus Pokorny has built an extensive track record in placing senior executives in strategic positions in all industries and sectors. He brings deep experience from other global Executive Search and recruitment organizations, focused mainly on working with clients in the Industrial, Supply Chain and Consumer sectors.

Andreas Boke’s 16 years of search experience includes work as a consultant in a boutique firm in Stockholm, the establishment of an office for an international search firm in Gothenburg, and C-level recruitment experience at a global Executive Search firm. Andreas has supported clients across a broad range of industries, but especially covering Industrial and Consumer.

Göran Brittsjö, who has worked with Amrop in Sweden during the last 20 years, will split his time between the Gothenburg and Malmö offices.

Amrop in Sweden will now have offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö with a total of 13 Partners and 11 Research Consultants, making Amrop one of the largest executive search firms in the country.
